Direct Technical Assistance Requests - WOTS

The Water Operations Technical Support (WOTS) Program provides rapid direct technical assistance to Corps of Engineers field offices in implementing technology to solve water quality environmental problems at Corps projects. The WOTS Program is an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) funded program, and is assigned to the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Environmental Laboratory (EL).

Requests for Direct Technical Assistance should be e-mailed to Pat Deliman, Program Manager (

The assistance request should name the project, state the nature of the problem, and describe the type of assistance required. The request should identify a point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address. If a technical person at the ERDC has been contacted and has knowledge of the problem, a request for that individual may be expressed in the request. Upon receipt, each request will be directed to the proper ERDC technical staff member for response.

Direct technical assistance under the WOTS Program is provided at no cost to the user and is limited to 5 man-days, including travel. The results of the assistance provided will be transmitted to your organization from the Program Manager, WOTS.
